Welcome to Rudy Rudy's website!
Welcome to my home on the web. I am glad you found your way here. Currently residing in Boston, I graduated from Suffolk University with a BS degree in May 2002, majoring in Computer Engineering and Mathematics (minor). After my graduation, I found a job in the downtown Boston area, working as a Systems Administrator at the Boston Athenaeum, a full-time job in a friendly environment which I enjoy. With that, I see myself being in Boston for a few more years. Among the things that I do for fun, I enjoy sailing, windsurfing, running, rollerblading, skiing (downhill and x-country), snowboarding, swimming, jacuzzi, tennis, etc. I did a lot of skiing in Winter 2004 (was my 2004 New Year resolution) and I am hoping to run a Marathon before the end of 2004 (looks like it's not going to happen, now that I have shin splint on both my legs). Hmm... What else! I grew up in a very small village (population: 2000+) in Indonesia (you know, the 'Bali' country, tons of islands, nice friendly weather, good coffee, excellent and spicy food, crazy people, etc). I speak fluently in 4 languages, and don't worry, one of them is English; the others are Indonesian, Chinese Mandarin & Hokkien (the language primarily spoken in Taiwan). And currently, I am working on my Spanish. If my guess is right, I should be able to understand regular Spanish conversation by the Spring of 2005. I only spent the first 11 years of my life in the small village. I continued my study in Jakarta for about 3 years, and I went for my high school in Singapore thereafter. After finishing my high school in Singapore, I came to Boston for my college, obtained my Bachelor degree and decided to stay here to work for a little longer. Now, if you are wondering why my name is Rudy Rudy, go read my Personal Info page. Among the pages, I have included my resume and some of my researches and projects which you might find interesting. I have also included some activities that I am doing. This is a way to motivate myself to do more interesting activities because I don't want these pages to be boring :). If you are looking for some cool downloadable stuff, you can go directly to the page (you won't regret it, GUARANTEED!). If you are (or were) a Suffolk student, and are trying to get to the Suffolk Services page, click here. For all others, check out the rest of the pages. So, look around and I hope you enjoy your 'stay' here. Feel free to contact me anytime. Oh ya, by the way, if you have time, why don't you click refresh/reload a couple more times to increase my counter :-) |
